It is the time for all Quebecers to fight back. The Provincial Government has given permission to the ‘Soci?t? d’assurance automobile du Qu?bec’ (SAAQ) to introduce Bill 55 which allows the SAAQ to raise registration fees to no limit. This does not only concern motorcycles, which are seasonal; there will be an upcoming price hike on regular vehicles as well.

 I have taken the SAAQ to small claims court where the judge recommended me to go to a higher court (see attached court documents). I have brought the case to Julius Grey, one of our leading Canadian lawyers and he has accepted to represent the case. Now we need to stand together: please register on-line (there is no fee) and write your comments. We will be presenting them to Superior Court.

 Mr. Grey will seek to turn this case into a class action suit at which time the Province of Quebec will assume all legal costs. More information will be available as the situation evolves.
